Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is an Indian performer, singer-songwriter, and musician. She works primarily with Tamil and Malayalam movies. Her first appearance as an actor was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam in addition to her Malayalam d but with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was raised in the Tamil Nadu region in an Anglo-Indian family. Andrea's father was an Madras High Court lawyer. Her older sister is who is a resident of Leuven Belgium in the role of Research Assistant. Jeremiah, who was born in Chennai attended National Public School. He graduated from Women's Christian College. Jeremiah has stated that she was a enthusiast and wanted to be psychiatrist when she passed the 12th grade of her board exams.Andrea began studying classical piano at the age of eight. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style group she was a part of at age 10 was the foundation for her singing as well as composing music. At her university, she was also an actor and appeared in stage plays organized by The Madras Players. Andrea was the president of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Gautham Vaisudev Menon performed in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, then asked to have her play the role of a female character on Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea performed the role of Kalyani, a housewife whose husband has an affair. The character was allegedly threatened with a blackmail. Andrea was chosen for the part following the actors Simran Shobana and Tabu were offered the role. The film premiered in the early 2010s. In August 2011 Venkat Prabhu made his debut with the multi-starrer Mankatha. She was asked to take on a lesser support role. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic flick from 2013.
