Annie Murphy

Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on the 19th of December, 1986. She's from Canada and has worked in Hollywood's film industry on many different projects. The most notable of them is her role as Alexis Rose in the CBC comedy series Schitt's Ridge that was launched in the year 2015 before ending in the year 2020. As a result of her character, she was praised by critics and received the Primetime Emmy Award. The actress was born in Ottawa on the Ontario side of Canada. Her parents used to work as teachers. They enrolled her at Elmwood School in Ottawa where the stage was where she appeared in productions. She then took courses in the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory in which she learned to act. She later moved from Toronto to Los Angeles at the age of 22 where she pursued acting as a profession. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 with the television crime thriller Lethal Obsession. Then, she continued to take on small roles as well acting as an added. Story of Jen, released in 2008, Lick in 2010, as well as A Windigo Tale were all success stories.
