Lis Wiehl was born on August 19th, 1962. She is a former Fox News legal analyst.
She is an adjunct professor of law in New York Law School. Prior to that she served as an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She has been a legal analyst on National Public Radio's show and the Radio Factor of Bill O'Reilly. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File alongside Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning shows and is the host of The Legal Lis radio show. Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She completed her studies at Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree at the age of 33 in. In 1985, she earned her Master of Arts Degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she earned a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She was a legal reporter on NPR's All Things Considered. She worked as the deputy chief investigation counsel for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She was a law professor as a tenured law professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle which she was the manager of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 to 2001. Wiehl is a Fox News analyst since 2001.
